Rozina, a family room for 3 people, was once the master’s room, the largest and most beautiful in the homestead. It will charm you with its old wall paintings dating back to the time it was created.

Where is Vila Kobdilj 1835 located?

Vila Kobdilj 1835 stands on the Karst plateau in Slovenia, just one kilometre from the medieval village of Štanjel. Its location makes it a perfect base for exploring the Karst region, the Vipava Valley, Lipica and the Škocjan Caves.

Is Vila Kobdilj suitable for group stays?

Yes. Vila Kobdilj 1835 offers three rooms and two apartments and can accommodate up to 18 guests. The house is most comfortable for groups of around 12 to 14 guests, who can fully enjoy the shared spaces and the privacy of the borjač courtyard.

Is Vila Kobdilj 1835 suitable for children?

Vila Kobdilj 1835 is a boutique historic homestead designed for peaceful, slow living and quiet retreat. Due to the layout of the spaces, open staircases and wooden floors, as well as our intention to preserve a calm and tranquil atmosphere, the property is not suitable for children under the age of 12.

Are additional services, such as cleaning during the stay, available?

Yes, mid-stay cleaning can be arranged upon request for an additional fee. Please let us know in advance.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout Vila Kobdilj 1835.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are allowed under the following conditions:

• Pets can be brought along by prior arrangement.
• Maximum of 2 pets at a time. A surcharge of €20 per pet per day applies.
• A deposit of €100 per pet (payable upon arrival).

At Vila Kobdilj, we love animals, but we kindly ask pet owners to ensure their pets do not disturb other guests or cause any damage. Please do not allow pets on upholstered furniture or beds and ensure they do not chew on equipment or furniture. Dogs can be taken for a walk through the small courtyard exit leading to the nearby meadows. Please make sure they do not relieve themselves in the inner courtyard.

If we find any violations upon your departure, the deposit will be retained to cover the costs of deep cleaning or repairing damaged property.

Does the accommodation offer parking?

Guests of Vila Kobdilj 1835 may use an outdoor vehicle parking area located opposite the house, across the road from the main entrance.

⚠️ Access to this area is possible only when approaching from the village square of Kobdilj in the direction toward Vipava.
If you are arriving from Vipava toward Kobdilj, please:

drive past Vila Kobdilj to the village square,
turn around there,
and return toward the villa, where you can safely turn left uphill into the marked area.

Up to 7 parking spaces are available.
